ESXi-Server-Updateanleitung mittels SSH



    (Die Firewallanpassungen waren in meinem Fall nicht notwendig)

    Ich nutze meistens:
    esxcli software sources profile list -d https://hostupdate.vmware.com/software/VUM/PRODUCTION/main/vmw-depot-index.xml | grep 6.7.0-2021 | grep standard
    und suche mir dann die aktuellste raus. 

    esxcli software profile update -d https://hostupdate.vmware.com/software/VUM/PRODUCTION/main/vmw-depot-index.xml -p ESXi-6.7.0-20210304001-standard

    by DM:
    esxcli software sources profile list -d https://hostupdate.vmware.com/software/VUM/PRODUCTION/main/vmw-depot-index.xml | grep -i 7.0 | grep 2024-0[34]
    esxcli software profile update -d https://hostupdate.vmware.com/software/VUM/PRODUCTION/main/vmw-depot-index.xml -p ESXi-7.0U3p-23307199-standard
